The most talked about movie of the year is just around the corner and it is time to start getting ready and binge watching prequels and sequels to the movie. Yes I am talking about the infamous man with no morals, no soul and no sense of remorse and maybe the greatest villain of all time the evil mastermind known as the Joker. On October 4th the origin story of The Joker will becoming out with lead actor Joaquin Phoenix playing as the man who terrorizes Gotham City and is Batman's greatest Foe. There are 4 Major Reasons why you should watch this movie and here is why....
2. The Acting: In the following photos next to this paragraph and below you will see the greatest actors to ever play The Joker and that is Heath ledger, Jared Leto and Mark Hamill. Between all the jokers here they all have a sum of 2 Academy awards, a Bafta, 2 Golden Globe awards, Screen Actor Guild Reward for Best Supporting Actor and those are just 6 out of 17 awards given to Jokers based on there acting. To become The Joker you need to actually become a mad man and set yourself in the tone as a crazed person who will do anything at any second and have no back thought about it. Joaquin Phoenix has been praised by many of the actors here and he is being compared to Heath ledger who is by far the best Joker of all time and here is a short video just to show how into the Joker he got.Heath Ledger Acting. So if Joaquin Phoenix is being praised to be an equivalent to Heath Ledger than this movie should be one of the best Joker movies.
3. The Entertainment: Widely known as the biggest reason to see or not see a movie and the big question is if the movie is going to entertain its viewers and boy oh boy this movie will be one of the most entertaining action pact film there is. While you see Joker go from a average normal man to the Sadistic murdering villain there is also an insight into the Pre- Life of Joker and you will learn and see all the pieces fall into place to make Joker snap and go crazy. 4. Something New: One thing about this movie that is drawing a lot of people is that it is something completely new and different. There has never been a solo Joker movie to this capacity and now that the light is being completely shined on Joker and he has this whole film to himself. Usually Joker is the main villain in Batman but he doesn't get a lot of screen time he usually only gets about 10-25 minutes in screen time in the movies and he is always out shined by Batman. This movie should bring a fresh new look to the DC universe and hopefully will spiral DC into a huge uproar in viewers and be a competitor with Marvel Studios.
This blog is one I personally find a lot of interest in, as I can’t wait to see the upcoming Joker film. I think your article is broken up very well with the different subheadings, which makes it easy to look for specific information I may want to know. You also do a good job of giving an explanation to who the character is for someone who may be less familiar with comics. The only real issue I have is that you missed a couple of times Joker had been adapted to film and TV. Maybe throwing in information about Cesar Romero as well as Jack Nicholson’s portrayals will really help the reader get to learn about even more ways the Joker has been shown. Overall this blog is very informative and entertaining and who knows, maybe we’ll run into each other on opening night of the new movie.
